I simply believe that the more earnestly one tries to follow Christ, the more severely the enemy will try to derail you. So being lackadaisical and relatively unchurched is a ~Good~ thing?

Heh, well the devil hardly need to put himself out to put you where you already are. All he needs to do is derail the occasional efforts of friends and family. I go through lackadaisical cycles myself so I see the differences.

I'm not going to turn this into preaching Hair. But quite seriously, the strongest warnings in the Book of the Revelation were to the churches who were "neither hot, nor cold."
I'd just encourage you not to be too casual about your faith.
