I'm gonna overcome my fear that the heating pad might have a spider in it and get it out of the closet.

Heh! Well, we do have Brown Recluse spiders here...they have a nasty bite. The chickens took care of most of the Black Widows, but those are outdoor spiders mostly anyways. Recluse spiders are closet dwellers...I'm very cautious around things that haven't been used in a while. Like the slippers and heating pad.

I try to think of everything, but you just watch...it'll be the one thing I didn't think of that'll get me.

I thought to put the safety glasses on when I mowed, but I never thought to put them on when getting an appliance out of a cabinet and look what happened...I got nailed in the eye with the plug!
