*self slap*
Should be any day now. I pre-ordered from Amazon. It was shipped Airborne on Monday. But it took me a week to get Harry Potter.
Next time I'll just go to Wally World.
shameless
That was just evil.
Utterly shameless on an already bloated thread....
We need to get a new one up.
I'm sorry!
But it was likely to be the last one...and I was tryin' not to shimmy...and...well, I'm sorry.
;-)
Do it before I leave, ok?
I'm OK with a new thread...
Where are you going?
Get a room...er thread...
I mean before I go home on Saturday, so I know where you are.
Today is my other final... and then I'm done. Tomorrow I pack.
Ah..... Righto!
Speakin' of which, about time for a tagline change...
Okay, what do I buy ping...
Jr. needs a new portable CD player. Also wants to be able to play MP3.
What do I buy and how much should I plan on spending?
Remember, I'm running low on kidneys...
I don't know a thing about them....
Hmmm... I would advise looking online first. Bestbuy.com should give you an idea.
He doesn't need a cd player if it does MP3s. He can rip the cds to the computer and then download them. Any media program will do that - Windows Media Player works great. Just get the MP3 player. It'll be smaller that way and more convenient.
I have thought about buying such a thing in the past, but have never really got the point where I ~needed~ one (always been able to listen to mp3s on the work computer, etc.)
But Amazon has quite a few portable CD players that will also play mp3 discs... prices range from about $40-100 if I remember correctly.
If I have a CD burner, do I have the capability to burn MP3 discs? Or will he need new software as well?
I'm pretty ignorant about all of this.
I think I'll have a nice cup of coffee...
:-)
