Eleventh Thread: Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
I need to get Kitty a vet.
Hey! where did you get all those versions? send em to me too! wai wai!
I was wondering about that too... but wasn't sure if I should say anything or not.
ACK - Once LSA got Louise in the Kitty Carrier. (Oh boy, that was a real thinking faster than typing one.)
Moses supposes.
In Japanese er... mythology I guess you would call it, people that ghost that have unfinished business stick around instead of going to the hear after (should that be thereafter?). People that commit suicide are even more lost souls than that. In many anime the tormented spirits of dead people that committed suicide come into play. I wonder if people that commit the 'honorable' sepeku ritual suicide escape that fate... but I digress. In FMwS the special punishment suiciders get for throwing away the life they had is to become shinigami (the angle of death for all you non anime watchers out there). It is a pretty chilling torment indeed since they have to go around taking the life from people that do NOT want to die. This gives them ample time to be tormented by the fact that they DID want to die. Also I think there is an aspect of that they died before they were destined to because they ended their life early. Naturally the higher powers don't like people screwing with destiny and stuff so they stick it to you for doing that. Itzumi is not REALLY evil but a lot of his evilishness is the lashing out of someone who hates them self or their life. He has been a shinigami a long time and is pretty messed up because of it. The fact that he really considered his job punishment is one final glimpse we get into his tortured soul. That scene was pretty powerful for me. We got that one last view of what goodness he had still in him before he went off to return to the job that was obviously eating him alive... er dead? whatever.
We got a good one, right down the street. :-)
~grinning~ :~D
His toeses are roses...
Don't start that again!
sigh, Thank You.
suddenly realizes he is out of beer!
DOH!
For Moses, he KNOWSES...
Simple Simon sipped his snifter, seized his knees, and sneezed.
I think it's actually been almost a year since I last saw that movie. That's gotta be a record in my life, at least since we had a VCR.
"No, no, no!"
"Yes, yes, yes!"
But then again, it's probably a lot cheaper way to travel. Just gotta medicate her a little, and check in with odd-size baggage. :-)
I am pretty sure I have not seen it in 5 or 10 years.
"No, no, nooooooooooooooooo....."
LOL!
