The Hobbit Hole XVII - A new road or a secret gate...

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

A new road or a secret gate...

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I'm here at a tech rehearsal. My group was called to be here at 7:00 p.m. I just finished about 20 minutes ago. Jr's group was scheduled for 8:30. They're at least 2-3 scenes behind him.

It's just a part of it. But I'd like to be able to leave...

Heh...all this stuff has to be done one way or the other. I'd just get called back.

It's okay. The wireless connection here is great.

Nothin' wrong with that!

Heh...you're...um...becoming more proficient with technology, right?

Leastways that's a good excuse...

I'll agree with that. The Professor did mention his own ilitary service is reflected in parts of the epic.

You've FReepmail, BTW...

Evenin' everyone!

I didn't bother catching up so are there any mini-dramas I need to be filled in on?

I feel like I'm in a time warp. It is Tuesday, isn't it?

A funkler-in-training, perhaps.

A luddite attempting to use 'technology', most assuredly.

A spammer, highly unlikely. :-)

(((Ramius)))

Hey there! I can't tell you how relieved I am that there is only one day left of the work week for me.

It has truly been hellish for these past 2 days.
