Speaking of which...I've at least hit 1700 words for today...I think I'm gonna watch an episode.
Probably way beyond! 50k is a pretty short book, but it IS a lot to write in a month if you have lots of other stuff to do in your life. Doable, but it takes some buckling down. Good fer me, I guess!

I'm actually getting somewhere! Woot! I think I'll write on and off for the next few hours until aforementioned manga finishs downloading. Am at 33,551 and counting.
The actual novels I'm sort of working on, now and then, will be closer to 75k than 50k if they are ever finished. Not sure how long this year's NaNovel will be. I might finish at 50, or not...

I wonder... perhaps it was a train. It was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike the usual sound the train makes but maybe they play a different sound in bad weather or something?
Speaking of bad weather, I just let the dogs out for a few minutes and it's sleeting like crazy out there.
