Please help out the curious. I see so many homepages with nothing on them. Please take a minute to go to your homepage, click "this page can be edited" and post a flag, THANK YOU.
Interesting fall foliage in your neck o' the woods! Makes "leaf peeping" take on a whole 'nother meaning... '-}
All you have to do is click "Set My Location", on the "more" page.
It gives the rest of us some hint of where you are in the world.
It's fun, just to know sometimes too.
Copy this exactly as shown and just place it in a little Notepad file or something and leave it on the desktop, whatever. Then whenever you find an image to post you put the address between the quote marks.
Note the space between "img" and "src"
Here's Google's image tag:

Placed between the quote marks, it looks thusly:
Copied and pasted exactly as shown, you'll see it....
Those instructions are for an image only. To have an image and some text, you need to learn to add paragraph tags at the end of each paragraph, and/or at the end of the image tag. A paragraph tag looks like this:
<p>
It's got a lone star on it.
I have a lot of pictures at http://www.worldisround.com/articles/54892/
One of these days I'll pay for the service so i can post directly from there but I'm still using the freebie service.
Thank you. I'll have to set mine up and start looking at others.
What about specifying the size, that's where I get lost?
These folks generally want no clues as to their ID and that is not necessarily a bad thing these days.
You are welcome, I like FReeper homepages, there's some doosies if you can find them, in fact somewhere there's a list of some of the best.
oop's
You took the word's right out of......LOL
Well, I haven't gotten that far either. I just pass on large images, or I'll grab them and resize them before posting.
Alrighty Then
Bumping a good idea.
By putting a state or other locality flag on your home page, you can opt to see locality specific notices such as notices of FReeper meetings and events in your state. You can alert people to news specific to your state and be alerted by others.
He is referring to your personal profile page on FreeRepublic. Also if you set your "locale" (look under preferences), you get messages that people post pertinent to your area. Click on my name, you will see the Florida flag in the upper left; that is what this thread is referring to.
I like to travel :-)
That's an impressive amount of flags FReeper, I'm impressed.
