Jump!

Leaping upward to the heavens, leaving all of Earth behind.
Soaring up to Heaven’s realm, and into a peace of mind.
All is left for just a moment, only self is lifted up,
All temptation, all distraction, all that’s bitter in our cup.

All is Joy that is before us, with the fresh breeze in our face.
In that moment, leaping upward, we have left Earth in its place.
What we need, we have within us, what we leave, we do not need.
What we gain, we want forever, what we lose, we pay no heed.

Every jump must have a landing, crashing down to Earth once more,
If this fall must lie before us, what is all the jumping for?
Jump for Joy, and jump for pleasure. Jump because the joy’s in you.
Jump to gain a piece of Heaven, jump for where you’re going to.

All our years of Winter’s Worries, bind us solidly to Earth.
Time, in turn, will lead to knowing, every Spring is like a birth!
Though our years must have an ending, Winter can not be denied.
Stepping forward, stepping upward, Spring can be in every stride!

Jump for Joy in Heaven’s blessing, pay the aftermath no heed.
Jump because your goal is Heaven, knowing one day you’ll succeed.
Jump for Joy, and jump for pleasure. Jump because the joy’s in you.
Jump to gain a piece of Heaven, jump for where you’re going to.
