I wouldn't vote for ANYONE due to who endorsed them. I vote based on my own opinions, which are based on unbiased research as much as possible.
Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, et al endorsing Bush aren't bastions of intelligence either. Both parties definitely attempt to appeal to the lowest common denominator and most of those types don't frequent this site.
