Maybe we need a daily "please reassure me" thread sort of like the Matrix thread.

I think we all need reassurance at times. Those who know polls and understand them, I suspect some are pollsters, are the best at reassurance. And those who pray alot do a good job. Me, I stand on the sides and quiver.

We all need to get a grip, help one another when we can, and try not to quiver.

I've learned (finally!) to worry only about the things I can control and to let go of the things I can't. In the case of the election, the only thing I can control is my vote as well as trying to get as many like-thinkers as possible out to vote.

It will be a sad day if Kerry wins, because it will show that America has lost its brains and its soul; however, it will not be the end of the world.
