What's with Edwards hand? Why does he do that JFK - Thumb-on-top-of-the-hand waiving thing? It looks sooo stupid.
Also, how many times did Silky Pony say "We have a plan".
maybe the Mrs. sat on it
Yeah, both Senator Kerry and Senator Edwards used the same gestures...must have been some sort of subliminal body language.
The both started the debate introduction by playing games. Senator Kerry must have counted to three before he came out from behind the curtain, making the President wait briefly for his arrival.
Senator Edwards "short armed" the hand shake to make the Vice President appear to come to him.
Both Senators started their initial Q&As with their hands arm spead apart and reaching out. Sort of "come to me" gesture.
Then they both used the fist and thumb gesture several time. Unfortunately for both, neither has a very masculine physique, so the gesture comes across as weakness rather than strength.
They have keepers who teach them how to breathe. Pathetic wanna-be "men."
ps.
Real men don't have to take "men lessons."
I think the hand thing is a "thumbs up" gesture but when the other fingers are closed it just looks like a wimpy fist. I see lots of dims doing this gesture and it looks weak and wimpy. I think they must learn the thumbs up along with the talking points.
Funny
wow... u pay close attention. props to you
Before the debate, a co-worker said that his daughter always called that the BS gesture - that if a speaker makes that motion, what he is saying is BS and the gesture is meant to make him seem sincere. First one noted using that gesture was of course Bill Clinton -- now Kerry and Edwards both do (of course it's BS whether they make the gesture or not).
Uncalled for.
