It seems as though everything was very orderly. Heinlein said it leads to politeness.
Any legislator who fears an armed citizenry, which is essentially a volunteer police force, needs to go into another line of work.
Something honest, maybe.
I've never been to Falls Church, but it sounds like an "East Lansing" type area outside of the college. Commuters to the capitol.
Although it's hard to top the idiots who dominate EL's city council. Michigan has a preemption law where cities can't have stricter gun laws than the state.
EL's council passed an anti-gun law that violated state law. (Whoops, wasn't anti-gun but anti-weapons....knives too - to POSSIBLY get around the law)
When I called the council out on it being a waste of tax money because it was illegal - the Mayor said "We're in court all the time anyway!"
Glad I don't live there anymore. Especially since I was voting from my dad's house at the time(Insurance).
They'd call you all sorts of names if you called the cops because a dark-skinned bearded guy with a wild look in his eyes showed up with a suspicious-looking cardboard box. You'd be guilty of "profiling".
LMAO. I love it when Libs foam at the mouth.
