My son-in-law is a Linux guy, they think it is "neat." I guess because you can play with it. Me I don't care. Notice he blamed all virus's on the Windows system, as if self generates virus's.

Not entirely. It's more powerful, more reliable and far more stable than Windows. What's great is that a lot of popular titles under Windows (Photoshop, MS Home Office suite, etc) have open source equivalents (Gnu Image Manipulation Program, Open Office, et cetera).

Me I don't care.

And you're entitled not to care. But that doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't. That's part of what makes America so great.

For the most part, current viruses are created using Visual Basic with a recipe that's been known for years. That Microsoft can't defend against it speaks volumes for its lack of security. I noticed that you don't quite grasp that.
