It's hard at times. I am the only living child mom has left. She has 2 wonderful daughter in laws close by. One just minutes from her home. She checks in on mom regularly.

Mom gets winded easily. I had thought it was due to lack of exercise. Mom has hip and knee problems which prevents her from normal activity.

Now I realize it's fluid surrounding her lungs that is causing her to be short winded.

She is on numerous meds also. BP, blood thinner, cholesterol med. and now Lac (sp)for the fluid.

I did notice this summer when mom was here she was much more irritable than normal. Picking about this and that, which was really none of her concern.

Praying for patience daily. Mom's thing now is to call and ask if I just called her. (sigh)
