I may have found the problem with the hotel network. I believe that the SMC Barricade Plus WAN/LAN boxen is unsecured and not correctly set up. At least I can post now.

I'll bring this issue up with the hotel management, about how the ISP 'professionals' have screwed up. I'm making a list of all the problems. Sheesh... the system time is set to 1970....

Hotel management will appreciate a hammer to whack the ISP with.
