I'll have her run through exactly what she is doing and does when Sonny decides to pull this. Yes, there probably is a reason since most of the time he's great (even though he is an appaloosa) :)

Hey since we're talking about problems, let me ask you all's opinon about the one I've found in Harley.

Harley will stand tied all day, to posts, trees, in barns. But I have some real problem tieing him to a trailer. I have trouble getting him close enough to even tie him. When I do get him tied, he's wide eyed, and like as not will pull back.

I'm wondering if something bad happened to him once tied to a trailer, since he does stand so well every where else.

I'd guess the best way to fix this is tie him to the trailer:). But I worry that he'll fall and get his legs under it or caught in the tires, etc.

I did tie him up some last summer, and it helped, but then my DIL had trouble when she took him. Different trailer. You suppose he'll have to be trained on all trailers? Then when that guy came and looked at him a few months ago he acted like that on his trailer, not bad, he never pulled back, but you could tell he was uncomfortable. Acted spooky walking up to it.

What would you all do?

Becky
