I have them and want to learn to use them but it would cause problems where I'm at right now.

People can't understand why I even want her to do this. "She neck reins". So, can't she do both??? (don't know how to roll eyes here:')

Sure she can do both! Horses are so versitile that they can do more stuff than most of us can even dream about. I LOVE watching the people in the Pat Parelli seminars do riding at liberty, where they don't even USE a bridle or a saddle. They jump and do flying lead changes and reining spins. It just blows my mind. I would love to have that kind of communication with my horses some day, but it takes lots of time and commitment and I just don't have it right now. Maybe when I retire!
