Free Republic has a lot of horse people that have found each other on other threads…. And since we all like to talk horses, how about a thread where it is not off-topic, but is THE topic?
A few of us thought it would be interesting and informative to have a chat thread where we can share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the last thread we had a great time and were a great help to each other working through lessons and training, horse lamenesses and illnesses, questions and challenges and always just our stories we like to tell.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the last thread, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.
I still need to pick up something for my DIL. I went to Walmarts(after I found my purse) There was no way. I'm going back about midnight and then I'll be done.
i did that and now have 3, 1 girl and 2 boys! LOL

Somethings gone wrong because it should work easy... that is what I like about those two sites, is the interface. The manual interface is easy enough, but I'd recommend installing their better load tool.
But even if all that fails, if you create an album and look in the blue menu on the right, you can choose 'add photos' and choose to email the photos in to snapfish. Don't know how long it takes them to post, I haven't done it.... but that's worth a try.
I dread my husband coming home tonight. I convienced him that I needed to go back to 3 days a week so I could manage and keep the house clean. I have this miserable head cold and all I have done is make the bed and wash some clothes. The kitchen a mess. He's gonna have a field day teasing me.
We spent four nights with the last horse I was watching with a friend, and she dropped and had the foal while we went in for a bathroom break. No more than 15 minutes.
I'Ve downloaded lots b4 and never had this problem. It may be the disk. I'll check it out later as by hook or by crook I am going to get some photos posted! LOL
ps I tried the manual way too! Same results. No idea why.
I don't know why but after I download I have to shut york down and reopen to pull up my pics. That's what I meant about complicated. Once I got to send it wasn't hard but my computer has so many quirks that I have to bypass to get there.
i am going to try again. so I'll be back ............happy or kicking and screaming! LOL
It was cold that night. I had a cot and a heater and the pig wanted to sleep with me. This could be a problem with a horse:')

thankyou, but i have a suspicion that it may be my kodak disk. If you see some pics you will know that it worked!
Can you copy them off the disk onto your desktop?
if it has worked...are you seeing double! LOL
