Yes..he can beat the blowhard. One thing about O'Reilly, he never digs deep. His reports are superficial. Savage can beat him on facts alone.

Savage is a great thinker, people underestimate him because he blows his stack. Half the time he blows his stack for colorful entertainment, the other half he really means it because he cares about the issues deeply. He has his priorities straight, and cares about the things that really matter. Really, Savage is right and wise about some issues in ways that no other conservative talker is, listen to him talk about kosovo, immigration, terrorism, etc... Sure some of his stuff is really hard to take, but is an original and well educated thinker, no doubt about it. He is a national treasure.
I actually like O'Rielly too, I think Freerepublic is way too hard on him, I know he's not a hard conservative but that's fine he has his place.
O'reilly is good when he knows what he's talking about. But that's rare now days. He's just isn't current on the facts and relies on the Old Media for his info.
I would go with Savage.

Savage vs O'Reilly - who wins. Well I don't know, but I can tell you who loses. The poor audience that has to listen! Savage is way too over the top, and O'Reilly is an unreliable conservative to say the least.
I hate both Savage and O'Reilly..
Savage has a really excellent grasp of the issues, and is really very intelligent. If I had to pick only one conservative commentator, it would be him. He knows the left from the inside out, having lived in the belly of the beast for ages. I feel he grasps the full extent of the left and their designs for us better than any other commentator, which is why he is so passionate. He sees things quite clearly compared to some others.
Savage rules all. Those who disagree just don't understand the nuances of rage.
