American Spectator and Rush say docs came from Kerry staffer

Has anyone else heard or read this? Rush says the American Spectator is saying that the forged documents came from the DNC and a Kerry staffer. We need proof of this. Anyone heard anything or have any idea how to prove it?

I normally wait for proof...
But what the hay...

How could Kerry allow his staff to forge documents about Bush?

The CBS producer said that some alarms bells went off last week when the signatures and initials of Killian on the documents in hand did not match up with other documents available on the public record, but producers chose to move ahead with the story. "This was too hot not to push....."

"This was too hot not to push....."

So, that is what now passes for professional journalism at CBS News?

I thought that was supposed to be the way these guy operated:

"How could Kerry allow his staff to forge documents about Bush?"

It wasn't his staff. Newsweek says the major source for CBS was Bill Burkett, a former TANG member who has had a long standing grudge against Bush. He has major rants on the internet about how Bush documents were destroyed. He sounds very unbalanced. The implication is that since he didn't have the documents to prove his case, he 'manufactured' them based on his TANG experience and gave them to the DNC who passed them on to CBS. That would make perfect sense, and why these documents didn't turn up for the 2000 election.

See the Newsweek article for the Burkett mention:

(Odd, isn't it, how the "Rats are obsessed with "14 May, 1972" but can't remember 9/11/2001 ?)

They already have accused Rove: See American Spectator Article:

"According to one ABC News employee, some reporters believe that the Kerry campaign as well as the DNC were parties in duping CBS, but a smaller segment believe that both the DNC and the Kerry campaign were duped by Karl Rove, who would have engineered the flap to embarrass the opposition."

LOL. Great minds think alike. I've always thought that if I ever run for office (G_d forbid), and someone ever made some outrageous accusation or lied about me, I would just call a press conference and make up some outrageous lie about them. It's really the perfect response.
