Meet the Editors of "THANK YOU, PRESIDENT BUSH" on FR Tonight (9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific)

Posted on 09/08/2004 3:09:21 PM PDT by eric_jackson

World Ahead Publishing is pleased to announce that Jim Robinson, the founder of Free Republic, has graciously extended an invitation to the editors of Thank You, President Bush: Reflections on the War on Terror, Defense of the Family, and Revival of the Economy to conduct an online chat about their new book.

Tonight at 9:00PM Eastern / 6:00PM Pacific, please logon to the General/Chat section of Free Republic to join Aman Verjee and Rod D. Martin for a lively, candid, and insightful discussion of their landmark new book exploring the Bush presidency.

Among other topics, Mr. Verjee and Mr. Martin will be covering:

* The reasons they decided to create a book that makes the case that President Bush deserves the nation's gratitude.
* Why conservative legends such as Phyllis Schlafly, Ed Meese, Grover Norquist, George Shultz, and Art Laffer were so eager to work with them on this project.
* What it was like being at the Republican National Convention to unveil their new title to a cynical and hostile press.
* Why George W. Bush, a man who was derided by many conservatives just five years ago, has proven himself to be nothing less than the heir to Ronald Reagan.

Please be sure to join the editors of Thank You, President Bush here tonight to chat about politics, their new book, and anything else that's on your mind.

Sincerely,

Eric M. Jackson
Chairman, World Ahead

Sounds good to me. This is the first time I've ever seen a live chat on this site. They should do more of these.

"cynical press?" Is there any other kind of press? But why aren't they hostile and cynical to Richard Clarke, Maureen Dowd and now--Kitty Kelly! She gets a 3 day stint on the Today SHow to peddle her pablum. Why doesn't the media ever report on good news?
