In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

Most of the week I watched the speeches from my chair at the computer...but not last night. I listened to Pataki from here, but went into the other room as soon as he finished.
And was a good girl - went immediately to bed following the Prez' speech, unlike a couple of other nights!

I swear I would make the worst witness for any type of crime! The other night I would have sworn Jeanna was wearing a white top - and it was brown......... lol......and last night I thought of you when she had on brown again...........
She does look insane now....
i noticed a fair amount of brown at the mall yesterday. Brown and pink is an especially hideous combination. Just bc they are selling it, doesn't mean it should be worn, to alter your fave phrase a bit... ; )
i hadn't seen her in so long that when i had Fatpantload on the other night, i wasn't sure who the BLONDE WAS! she was not always blonde, that is for damn sure.
she does look better than Mary Matalin. Mary was not always that homely, maybe the ugliness of her spouse is rubbing off on her, for one thing her ears are too big to be wearing that short hairdo. she looks AWFUL, imo.
I like pink and black together (shut up Robert!) - but I've never paired pink with brown (again shut up Robert!)
They both look insane. And that crazy ass "I think I'm the joker" overdone lipstick does not help.
pink and black is good. and that is also very popular as per my viewing yesterday. but i just do not like brown.
All I need is for you to sign over the video rights and I'll be a wealthy and happy man
You haven't missed anything, I haven't whined too terribly much about her behavior.
It basically boils down to her being lonely these past 2 weeks. She hasn't seen any of her friends and so has been stuck with mommy all day. There are only so many Disney movies I can sit through.........
OH my Gosh I think so too! I have been noticing how freakishly big her ears look!!!!! You and I would so get our hands slapped with a ruler if we were in Catholic School.........
most of the foxnewsgirlies have toned down to more subtle lipstick. xsteen commented that Martha whatshername looked very good last night, with her hair not so poofed up and paler lipstick. i said sure, but i hate the gap in between her front teeth. i do not look good in pale lipstick.
I understand........I thought maybe something else had happened that I had missed.........I think kids act up a bit before school begins because they are a little anxious about the year AND because they get bored by the end of the summer.....
I love brown and pink as a combination. In fact that is exactly what I'm wearing right now.
also it seems her lips or jaw doesn't move when she talks? something weird about her face not moving when she talks. that hairdo has GOT to go. your short do is very cute and very flattering. Mary is not pretty enough to get away with that. in fact, she is looking haggard.
I tried using a lighter shade of lipstick this summer and didn't like it much either - but I have added a gloss over my regular shade and like that quite a bit.......
don't like brown. never have, never will. but i am sure you look darling for your open house at school, gabz. i am looking forward to next week to have all 3 in place for a full day. the half days and meetings at various schools have had me nuts this week.
