Yep...I'm pretty pleased.

Matthew has "journal entries" he has to make for spelling, too. He is given a topic and he writes about that topic. His topic this week was "Something that frightened him". He wrote:

"Dear Mom,
I was scared when I was at Grandma's house with a tornado outside. I was really in danger, but what was interesting was when the weatherman passed by[storm chaser]. Next time, I'll buy special basement-digging equipment beforehand."
