Eleventh Thread: Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |

Barn raising SPAM!
Denied... :-)
Missed it by >that< much....
;-P
I ~meant~ to do that anyway....
"They're adorable."
Evenin' to ya, OT!
Hear anything on the house yet?
It comes in pints?!
*Sigh* Bank dude was out today. Maybe I'll hear tomorrow. Meanwhile my second choice house has a bid on it.
Dunno. I'm not sure when shootmoot is even.
Now I'm ashamed to admit I don't remember where that's from, though I remember hearing it--when did he say that? :)
DOH! Muh secret's out.
And so they came, from the far distant shores, tool bags slung over their shoulders, drawn to woodlands of the Ozarks. Soon the hills would ring with sounds of hammers striking the red oak planks. The air was filled with sawdust and the aromas of fresh bread, bar-b-que and tubs of cool drinks for the workers as toiled neath the Missouri sun.
If it's meant to be yours, you'll have it!
I'm sure you'll hear something by the end of the week. Everyone I know who has bought a house has had some bit of runaround.
*wistful sigh*
That sounds lovely, osage.
You really painted a picture there....
Wow. OK... you get to do the write-up.
Makes me wanna strap on a tool-belt it does... :-)
"It's curtains for you, Rocky. Curtains."
Then Bugs Bunny plops a curtain rod with these flowery curtains on his head.
"They're adorable."
Has anyone noticed the intended recepient of the HHD traveling 'garage raisin' crew's planning efforts hasn't chimed in?
Unless he's out in the shed checking on the hammer situation. :-)

Kitty wants a screened porch.
Kitty's human needs a screened porch...with a cat door so Miss Cat can take the evening air safely and without waking up her human.
He's getting the blueprints drawn up. :-)
Absolutely.
And what Kitty wants, Kitty gets. *smile*
