One of the most interesting aspects of all this swift boat kerfuffle has been that it puts the lie to the left's favorite slogan: "We support the troops. BUT........."
Americans have now seen, from their shameful treatment of the Swiftees, they still don't support the troops. They'll support a military person who agrees with their wishy washy, anti-war philosophy, in fact they're thrilled when a uniform crosses over to their side. But that's no different than a fireman, policeman, movie star or athlete...that soldier is just another prop to them.
They've never understood that "support the troops" means: supporting them when a war's going well or badly, not condemning all soldiers for the inevitable bad behavior of a few (aka stereotyping), not second guessing every action before the battle's even over. And---most of all---if you don't agree with the mission, that's fine. But never, ever do or say anything that might undermine the mission. THAT is what supporting the troops means.
And they still don't get it. I've heard they've hired Clinton's goon private eyes to investigate all the Swiftees. Stir. Hornet's. Nest.
Sheesh. German...a language I've never had any desire to learn.
I liked the attitude of the Swifty, Steve Gardner, who was on with Roger Hedgecock (subbing for Rush) the other day: if Kerry's private investigators want to dig up dirt, I couldn't care less.

Cross-eyed and indicating how much money he'd have if he hadn't married Teresa is no way to go through life.
Why should they care? They're not running for president!
Kerry as tactician....LOL!

Who wouldn't be thrilled to meet you?! Give me a name, I'll scratch their eyes out.
Very nice letter from Laura!
