No, I don't miss the Bay Area. Where I am is beautiful and green and abounding in wildlife -- notably deer, foxes and scads of wild turkeys (I counted 19 on our lawn the other day). My lady and I are slowly getting settled in, but haven't much furniture yet :-) I had to get a new computer and a new server, and all that took some doing too. (Fortunately, I can get broadband even out in a rural area.) We bop into BigApolis now and then, but this is not the week to be in Manhattan!

Thanks -- and always sorry to miss a picnic, but no trips back to California are likely any time soon.

My current kick is Maria Muldaur, not huggin' and chalkin' :-)

Where you are sounds lovely!!! I'm a country girl so the Bay Area or any congested area is not what I look forward to.

It's great to know that you and your lady are getting settled. I always hate buying new computers .... it seems that it takes forever to get everything working the way you want it to.

If you and Mrs T'wit ever get back to the West Coast, let us know and we will plan a support the troops rally and dinner while you are here.
