I know it's a painful time for you. Bringing up Vietnam is causing a lot of us to relive those times. Not the war as much as the painful ripping apart of this country.
Yes, the younger ones DO know. They are our sons and daughters, our nieces and nephews, they are Americans who love their country and have been curious about the wounds caused back then.

It is true, however, that there is only a very narrow age band of voters that were engaged in Vietnam-era politics and understand the issues that were raised thereby.
