Well, let's face it, when we got here they were living in animal skin huts, fighting each other with sticks and rocks, worshiping animals, and smoking dope. Is that disputed?

In addition, much of the Indian civilization was stagnant and on the decline. Had Columbus been a few hundred years later they may not have seen a single person when they landed.

All cultures start at primitive levels. All I'm saying is that there is evidence to suggest that the Native Americans were in contact with and influenced by the Old World and weren't living in an isolated PC paradise before the Spanish arrived on the scene in 1492.
