Sounds a bit dubious.
Good lord They've all gone insane. First Kerrys super double secret mission to Cambodia. Now steinem. And Medved has some nut talking about the George Bush plan to create a theocracy.
That non-woman steinem, that woman who, pretty much on her own, destroyed the value of the at home mom? That load-mouthed beach did it for the government?
I dont think so - I think the dems would like to blame societal decay on the CIA, but it's on THEIR doorstep!
That's it! Kerry took Steinem to Cambodia!
Uh... huh.
Alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllrighty, then.
I think this may be a little to outside of the box for general freeperdom old chap.
Heck, George Bush is trying to PREVENT Theocracy.
If the Left had their way, the terrorists would be in charge soon enough.
Tragically true.
Women's oppression is a lie. Sex roles were never as rigid as feminists would have us believe. My mother had a successful business...Women were free to pursue careers if they wanted to. The difference was that their role as wife and mother was understood, and socially validated, as it should be.
That's exactly what my Mom always told me. She was the only female in her accounting classes and one of the few in her profession at the time, yet she was successful and no "glass ceilings" or "sexual harassment" stood in her way.
When the feminist movement first started, she thought it sounded like a good idea, so she checked it out. She declined to join, because she discovered that they were a bunch of "child hating lesbians", as she put it. Mother knows best.
Ms. Steinem, here's a flashy little number for you that matches your line of thinking...
Welcome to Free Republic, Troll!
"Our main misconception about the CIA is that it serves US interests. In fact, it has always been the instrument of a dynastic international banking and oil elite (Rothschild, Rockefeller, Morgan) coordinated by the Royal Institute for Internal Affairs in London and their US branch, the Council for Foreign Relations. It was established and peopled by blue bloods from the New York banking establishment and graduates of Yale University's secret pagan "Skull and Bones" society. Our current President, his father and grandfather fit this profile."
Your boy here left out the Joos!
This isn't a ZOT - but it's a helluva laff!! Enjoy!
Actually, this is an old story. I learned about Steinem's role in our propaganda efforts several years ago in school. The timing is suspicious, and the writer's analysis leaves a bit to be desired. I find it unlikely that Steinem knew she was working for CIA, or that she's an illuminated uberfraulein like this article would have us believe. And the Rothschilds haven't run the Majestic-12/Freemason ring for years, they're tapped out. The 20th century did a number on the Old World dynastic banking clans.
tinfoil alert
Second wave Feminism is designed to destroy our society. But it was not a CIA plot, it is inherent in the Kantian/Communist philosophy that spawned it.

Umm, bttt for later digestion?
A lot of the information in the article is emanating from Communist propaganda sources--for instance, Phil Agree is quoted. Several of the "CIA-connected" people and groups mentioned in this article--Katharine Graham, Cord Meyer, the Congress for Cultural Freedom--represented a left-wing faction of the CIA, held over from Bill Donovan's OSS and the Truman administration, that was opposed to Allen Dulles' anti-Communist policies. There is a lot of misleading information here.
It starts to fall apart right about there.
