Thank you for bringing that to Amy's Place.

"A windmill in La Mancha, Spain, like the ones Don Quixote believed were giants waving their arms. On horseback with his lance lowered, he charged them repeatedly."

Was he blind or an idiot? :)

Hope you Wednesday has been Wonderful!
Have a great remainder of today. :)

LOL! Cute picture!

Ritz doesn't do a whole lot anymore. He used to do cute things like dig those milk rings from gallon milk jugs out of the trash can and then play with them for hours...or jump in the air and catch wads of paper with his paws. He could sometimes even catch those milk rings in his mouth. Now he just sleeps all day and stares at you if you try to play with him. Except if I get out the catnip. That seems to perk him up a bit to play a while. My little guy is getting old.

62 ... Brrrrr

Temp here is 100. It will probably get to about 105 here later. That is too HOT!

I'm having a nice day.

The temps are awfully hot this afternoon so I'm staying inside as much as possible.

106?

I sure hope so. Otherwise you might as well take frozen chicken to the picnic. ... It will cook on the way.

We won't need to buy any charcoal. :)

For safety's sake, and kidding aside, I should say frozen fried chicken.

In other words, pre-cooked. Food would definitely spoil quickly in that heat.

106...Wow. It's been unusually cool here. Right now, it's only 60 degrees. Tomorrow, the high is only going to be around 66.

When we had our first picnic, the temp was about 104. We could not keep enough ice. Everyone brought ice and we still needed to send someone on an ice run. That was in July.

It will probably be warm in September but it should not be unbearable. (I hope, I hope)

I cannot imagine a high temp of 66 in August.
