I actually suspect that there is something deeply wrong with him on a psychological level. He gave an anti-war speech to his graduating class at Yale, then enlists in the Navy two years later and goes to OCS. Once he sees the swift boats in the Me Cong delta he has some kind of PT109 flashback and pushes for the duty. Once in country he goes medal-hunting and gets out before he gets hurt really bad... then spends a couple of years after that trashing the sailors that he served with in order to set himself up as a national personality. It was a set-up from the beginning.
I agree with you 100% there, Ramius. He's on that same weird path that Al Gore took. The one where all things ~should~ lead right to the Presidency and how DARE anyone or anything (including truth) get in the way.
The ends always justify the means.
I'm very worried about the amount of vote fraud sure to take place in the upcoming election.
