elf-boy is all better!!!
Yesterday we went to my mother's because it was tax-free day and she offered to buy him school clothes (WOOHOO!). First things first though, we went to the doctor to get the all clear. The doc said it was a viral infection that had run its course ~ no dairy for 24 hours and no playing with other kiddos until fever is completely gone, but otherwise he is fine. At the time, he was still on motrin. His last dose was yesterday morning at 6 am. Currently, he has no food restrictions and a normal temp! I am so glad that he feels better. ~While we were there, he read Hop on Pop to me in the waiting area. (he isn't a genius, but he will only be entering kindergarten in a couple of weeks.)
So, after the doc visit, we set off for a trip to gramma's. Dang she spoils him! (Oh well, as if I am not spoiled, LOL.) She bought three red, three white, and three light blue polo shirts, two khaki pants, two navy pants, one khaki shorts, one navy shorts, spiderman boxers, spiderman watch, spiderman t-shirt, two white oxford shirts, and some goggles with snorkle.
earlier in the day, He had a $10 that was burning a hole in his pocket, so I let him buy a spiderman plush doll, and a spiderman action figure with motorized helicopter, using his own money.
If the spiderman infatuation lasts as long as the blues blues infatuation, I am in way over my head.
that should read blues *clues*
Glad elf-boy is better! A Spiderman infatuation can last a long time, though--I just bought the novel myself today :)
Very good to hear about elf-boy-spider boy feeling better msdrby!
