I just hate shopping for clothes. But this is a vey important occasion- the outfit has to be *perfect*. It has to say intelligent and competent (because the audience will be somewhat hostile to my findings) but not be so glam/spit-n-polish that it seems out of place with my more casual hair and make-up.

And why oh why do stores waste space on size 4 clothes? No one that size wears business suits. They're into low-rise jeans and belly shirts.

I decided to try on some slacks at Penney's yesterday...there were TONS of size 4s and tons of, say, 14s and above...but in my size they were all petites.

Seems like that's always the way. So I can identify...
