The remote control lawn-mower is not that far fetched, considering the gadgetry the boys in my family are attracted to. They have a robotic vacuum cleaner and an electric cheese slicer at the beach house, forcryinoutloud.

Which takes 25 minutes to get set up, fercryinoutloud. A bit of overkill for 4 slices of cheese, IMO.
