Dad didn't say ~anything~ about that! Should I call him or are you going to tell the story?

I can tell some of the story, though he may be calling just to share the fun. :-)

It didn't develop until later in the morning when the survey guys showed up. Dad was up by the mailbox when they were setting up and he asked them what they were doing. They said they were doing a property line survey for Mr. T. to re-establish the lines on *either* side of his lot.

Of course this is all developing because of Mr. P's fence that he put up. T is going to challenge the new fence. But... the survey dudes spent a lot of time on the beach in front of us, and they were clearly measuring our lot too, and shooting the corners of the boathouse and such.

Then Mrs. P called, after Dad left. I was going to call her when the phone rang. She was just letting me know that there were surveyors about... I said I knew that... and we had quite a long convo about the situation, the fence... how nasty the T's are... yada yada yada. She was not a happy camper.

As far as the P's are concerned, she says that Mr P is *very* sure about where he stuck the fence, and in fact he intentionally put it about four inches back from where he marked the line between the stakes.

[sigh] I can't imagine what T hopes to do here. He's fighting the most sensless of lost causes, *especially* with us.

She also passed on an amusing anecdote... via a conversation with Chet. Seems they were talking and Chet said something to the effect that "Yeah, well, Ron keeps talking to attorneys and he just can't find one that will tell him what he wants to hear"... I was rolling in laughter at that one. Well, I said... there's a reason for that. :-)
