Yeah - It's gonna hit the castle alright, to some degree or another. The castle does ~not~ have those nifty roll shutters everyone else on the beach front has.

I have always kinda secretly hoped someday we could do a Castle Entmoot Repeat... 1) If'n the castle is wiped away, they'll rebuild. Either with your insurance money or our tax dollars (fema) ;-)
2) If'n we go back to the castle, I'm not sleepin' on the tile floor...
I sorta mentioned to the wife that if we "host" Entmoot 2006 that we consider renting one of them spendy places on the Outer Banks. They're HUGH...bigger than the castle.

Oh they'll clean up the mess by Entmoot 06.... may wash out the bottom floor, but the house sortof looked like it was designed for that. The main floor is the second floor. :~D

Most of the beach houses are built that way due to the storm surge. Although that house was already pretty high up...(Floridialy speaking, of course).

That sounds GREAT!
I'm really looking forward to ShootMoot too.
My favorite part of WeddingMoot was just the times we sat around at Hair's house and visited. I mean, all of it was fun...but I just loved sitting and visiting the night before the wedding! I was just so astounded to be doing it, visiting with these people that I knew well, but had never met and found they were just like I knew they would be!
It was a surreal experience to me!
