The ridges in floor of the bedliner in my truck are so deep that I put a sheet of plywood, and then foam-rubber padding in there for better dog-footing.
Naw.... go haul a load of gravel in it. Better to break it in and be done with worrying about scratching the wheel wells. ;~D
You forgot 'bricks, paving stones, and dogs'.
Yeah sprayin is the way to go if you can swing it. I use to load trucks at HomeDepot one summer and those sprayin ones really hold up. As they say, 'you get what you pay for'.
Hmmmm...I need gravel...
I forgot last night, but are your socks exercise socks? I know, I know, you've worn them to walk a thousand times before- but I had the same thing happen to me once and it turned out to be the sock.
They're just normal cheap cotton socks. Not the greatest for exercise, admittedly.
I suppose better ones would help. But they're pricey!
It's true, though...I get blisters when I hike if I don't wear the fancier socks I bought. Maybe I should splurge. *sigh* But I need a new instrument stand, and other new clothes, and I wanna get snowshoes!
I like the look of sprayed... sometimes little bits of gravel can get under the liner, and then you get scratches.
Morning. Friday. Yay! It's cold and rainy. But I only have one major homework assignment this weekend so I can see a movie if there's anything good.
I try to maintain some mud on the jeep at all times. It is difficult to find around these parts.
We have LOTS! I'd bring ya some, but I don't have a truck with a bedliner...
LOL
I've got a neighbor who can set you up with some.
That was a cool post number. The last two digits are half of the first two.
Ok, cotton is really bad, so I understand. That's what gave me the blisters.
Do you have any other socks? I bet that's the problem.
Only other socks I have are hiking socks.
Guess I need ta go shopping. And not at Wal-mart.
I got my hiking socks from an on-line discount place. That's prolly what I should do. Even then they weren't cheap. But on the other hand...they've lasted YEARS, which the cheap cotton ones don't.
Rosie, you're right you wouldn't find what you need in the clothing section of Wal-Mart. But it wouldn't hurt to check the sporting goods section.
Sigh... I was really hoping I'd wake up and my Java problems would be gone, but noooo. Guess I know what I'll be doing tonight.
Ours isn't big enough to really have much of that kinda section. The "sporting goods section" is one aisle with some weights, a few mats, and a row of treadmill type things.
Of course, I've been meaning to head down to the big one in Plymouth, NH one of these days...maybe in a few weeks I can check there.
OK. I haven't been to our "regular" Wal-Mart in a while, but it's probably the same.
Sigh... and I'd like to do something this weekend, like drive up to the mountains. Tomorrow's supposed to be pretty nice.
