Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Hill and water under sky

New verse:

     | Upon the hearth the fire is red,Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
 Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!
 | Still round the corner there may waitA new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!
 | Home is behind, the world ahead,And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
Well wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Yes. I own a rock farm. They just keep erupting from the ground.... bending mower blades and all that fun stuff. Ya police an area and the very next day the rocks are back.

the quickest way to grow a yard is to put in a gravel driveway... That's where muh best grass grows.
Speakin' of which, as soon as we get thru dinner I gotta see if'n I can start the lawnmower. Jr. said he couldn't get it started this mornin' and now he's gone on youth group retreat.
Nana's cookin' dinner. Wife went to an appreciation dinner for VBS volunteers.

*Sigh* All good things must come to an end, though. My insurance company doesn't write policies here.

Prolly bad gas..... you prolly know all about that. Well, actually last time he mowed he did lose the cap for the gas can...I was surprised it hadn't all evaporated already.
But seriesly, I've been havin' problems with it myself. It's one of those cheap ones from Walmart. Prolly just needs some tunin' and a new spark plug...
Gotta go. I'll check in later.

I like a man in a duster... better still if he says "There are a dozen good brood mares in that mob. I'll be back for them... and for whatever else is mine."
