I would indeed be truly blessed
if in my hand your heart should rest.
If I could capture the stars from the skies
to remind me of the twinkle in your eyes,
once again blessed I would be,
but your beautiful eyes are lost to me.
You are no longer by my side
& the beat of your heart has faded, died.
So I wish I could in Paradise be,
alone we two, just you & me.
