July 21, 2004 -- SOME classical music lovers became so annoyed with the yammering of a group sitting next to them during a free concert in Central Park Monday night, they stole a woman's sandal. "We got to the Great Lawn at 5:30 and scored a nice spot on the ballfield. It was a perfect evening of wine and good weather. However, at 8 p.m., this posse of stupid people showed up," one perpetrator e-mailed Gawker.com, along with a picture of the purloined pump. "The 12 of them proceeded to make the [classical concert] the background music for their chatter about jobs in publishing and 'media buys' and the Hamptons. This went on for two-plus hours . . . So when the Grucci fireworks were over, we quietly rolled up our blanket, careful to snag a lone shoe. At least one b- - - - would hobble out of the park [that] night."
From Gawker.com:
Is this your shoe? If so, that means you were in Central Park last night, blabbing about the Hamptons and your publishing job during the free concert. The nice strangers next to you stole one of your shoes because you don't know when the hell to shut up.
Have a great trip but if you decide not to come back, do make arrangements to vote absentee ballot, lol....
I hate Lance.
He's got every half-wit in Austin riding bikes on the city streets.
;-)
Have fun in Maine!
Oh man, please give me an eff'n break.
How can we elect these dips to ANY office?
Were I going to wear anything yellow, it would be gold.
Cheers, DS.
BLENDED BLISS In 1995 Kerry wedded Teresa. His father, left, and both sets of children attended
There's that dress again.
What WAS she thinking?
Lots more vintage photos here if you can stand it.
Ha! Geraldo just showed Effin being booed at the Boston Red Sox game! His pitch went in the dirt, too. (He'll prolly blame it on the bracelet...LOL!)
Did you ever go to Yahoo News Photos and search for "Bush"?
Tonight every photo that came up was either Kerry or assorted Dems (including the gem below). This is not the first time. And no coincidence, I'm sure.
End of rant.

Eff is checking himself for manly odor at tonight's baseball game.
According to DRUDGE Teresa told a reporter to shove it right after she made a speech to delegates imploring them to be civil this week, lol. Supposedly there is an audio of this and it will be shown by MSM tomorrow...ya think?
And Bill and Hill are in town...
CLINTON LETS KERRY HAVE HIS MOMENT
Did Hillary and Teresa both plan to wear black and white? Weird.
Do keep us posted on the local reaction, particularly the statement by the Kerry camp calling the Pittsburgh Globe a right wing rag!!!
Just heard it on Drudge. The poor thing had been accosted by a "right wing rag."
There was also some audio of her speaking to the crowd to tell them to tone down the ugly talk and just realized her speaking style isn't going to mesh with a convention setting. Her speech in Boston should be really fun to watch.
The reporter was from the Tribune-Review. And yes, the Trib tilts right, it is owned by Richard Scaife. An excellent paper! I actually dropped my subscription because I get my news here and from various other websites. I may want to renew tomorrow.....
What WAS she thinking?
Sweet mercy! I've never seen anything like it.
Thanks for the link, they have been saved to the album.
The Trib reporter asked her to clarify her unamerican activities remark and she goes into full tilt denial. She leaves him, then comes back in a fit of temper and asks him if he's from the Trib, tells him it's a right-wing rag then tells him to shove it. Ed Rendell then runs to the reporter and attempts to clean up Teresa's mess.
I hope every voting American sees that clip.
I saw the clip (with no sound) and it was frightening...she seemed to be out of control after pushing Ed Rendell out of the way. Am I right to deduce that she did in fact use the term un-American, which she denied and which set her off?
Starting a new thread with some really good pics. Be right back...
