What do ya do for a baby who ate too much? She nursed, then ate 5 oz, then nursed again, and then followed up with three more oz. all in a period of 1 1/2 hours.

She didn't get much sleep today either, first day ever in the nursery (for VBS).

So, she is exhausted and has an upset tummy.

Rub her tummy or back - whichever seems to make her feel better. It's usually better if you hold 'em up in a sitting position while you do it.

I always used a heating pad (wrapped in a towel) on Alyson's sore tummy. And I'd pull and push her legs in and out to get the gas bubbles out. Then lay her on her tummy to help get the rest of the gas out.

Worse comes to worse, I have always sworn by Anise Tea for gas pains and Chamomile Tea to settle tummies. I'd make up a batch of tea and serve it her in a bottle at room temperature. She'd have relief within 15 minutes!!

Worked MUCH better than the Mylicon Drops and tasted nice too. I'd add half a teaspoon of sugar to the tea for her.
