Here I am!
Wn - Prayers for your Uncle...I hope everything comes out ok.
Corin - What can I say, man? Stay strong.
Ruthie - I skipped back and read over what you're going through, and it sounds very familiar to a situation that TCO and I were forced into when her parents lived with us. Prayers to you for strength.
To give y'all a quick summary - My brother and his wife are getting divorced (and I just had to kick him out of OUR house), my mom and her husband are getting divorced (he just put the house she's lived in for the last 16 years on the market today...very sad), and my younger brother is unemployed, seeing a shrink, and on meds for anxiety!
TCO, The Princess, and I, on the other hand, are holding strong...as the only sustainable, solid force in our immediate family.
My pastor is on vacation this week, and he wants me to run the service on Sunday...sermon and all...so I'm a little bogged down with the writing on that.
The "Sanctity of Marriage" rally, as many of you saw, went well, and we're already planning the next one for October 2nd. Keep an eye out on http://www.rallyformarriage.org as we build an "official" site for our work!
I'm drinking lots of coffee.
Coffee is good.
Thanks for checking in Seamus. Prayers for strength and for your sermon on Sunday...
We once went to a vey small church on Independence weekend where the pastor said "red, white and blue are the colors God chose"...red for the blood of Jesus, white for purity...I forget what blue was for...
Don't feel any obligation to "use" that. It's just a bonus. ;-)
So nice to see you, Seamus! I'll be praying for your family as well!
I'll also pray for God's wisdom to be imparted to you as you prepare the sermon. Best of luck and maybe you can get a copy of it on cassette/CD for me! I'd love to hear you preach. :-)
Please don't be a stranger. We miss ya when you're gone.
Many prayers coming your way Seamus! Many.
And hello. Good to see ya!
