Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Evenin' Rosie; Hermit was good, don't recall reading the second. I check the library each time I go, sometimes I get lucky and find one.

We have developed the pics from the disposables
Cool beans! When our digital cam got full, I grabbed one of the disposables and snapped a bunch of pics, filled it up too.

LOL!
Follow the leader with multi-ton vehicles [at highway speed].
With a specific group I'd be seen with it'd be 'the rowdiest bunch of pirates and nomads to be seen in artillery.'

Did they all know Steve's wife was the only one who knew.
I chatted with Steve this morning on line thinking he was in Iraq, when at the time he was only about five miles from me.
To: Graybeard58
Steve(?) in orange?
He has the look of an officer or senior NCO type.
He's only here for 15 days?
(How long till he and his brother roughhouse?)

Graybeard58/59. Now that is a surprise birthday present. Simply about the best you could ask for, except to have Smaagee back full time. btw, happy birthday.
Still grey and only four years behind you.
To: Graybeard58; smaagee
