Special Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
I need coffee. Proper mug or no.
Morning.
I think I could use a second mug myself. The proper coffee cups...the ones I used to serve company... are on the van. :)
It's a flylady weekend. I have to get rid of some clutter before the clutter gets here.
Heh... I've been lookin' around for the last couple of days thinkin I thought this place was more decluttered than I found it when I got back. Three weeks away sure makes the clutter show up. It musta been *really* bad before I got rid of all that stuff!
Hehehe....I like to think of my decorating style as "relaxed clutter."
Hmmmm.... maybe my style is "Texas country clutter"
Heh. An overly neat house gives me the nervous heebee jeebies.
Heh... lots of those in my family. It always makes me feel *worse* about mine.
PurpleQ is one of those great housekeepers. I was telling her one day how much I wish my house looked more like hers. She laughed at me and said that she thinks my house is great. She said when she sees my stacks of craft stuff, books, camping gear etc. she loves it because she knows that I know what to do with everything here! hahaha
I'm too busy doing stuff with stuff I got to get rid of it as clutter.
Everytime I put something in its "place" I never can find it again.
Did you have that problem at the old place?
At my old house I could find *everything*.
Now that I got a bigger house - and bigger garage, I can't find stuff. I *know* where everything would be at the old house still - but can't find stuff here!
Yes. It always took me a while to find the salt if it's put away in the pantry like it's supposed to be. Leave it on the counter and it's all right. :)
Speaking of clutter, I need to get back on the stick with eBay. Next up: bound copies of Harpers Magazine from the 1880s and -90s.
You guys were a trip last night!
(heading for 2nd cup)
I have 3 places for salt in my kitchen. 2 shakers and the box in a cabinet. That way I should be able to grab it anytime.
I'm still havin' trouble with automotive stuff and sewing stuff. Don't know where they belong. Might help if I'd quit movin' 'em to new spots so they'd be easier to find.
Oh oh.... now you know what we're really like!
And you still showed up this morning! LOL
So, how's ebay working for you on stuff?
Maybe that's what I need to do.
It's the box that was the problem. When I salt things whilst cooking, I usually use the box and if it's not on the counter.....
A little wierder than usual, honest!
With more popular or collectible items, the competition of bidding should (I hope) result in higher profits...
I thought you were trail riding!!!
Not yet, it's only 7:30 here..... Tiff comes at 9.
Been getting ready though.... packing my stuff together and hosin the horse off so he's clean!
