Hi, Alkhin! Good to see ya :) What's new with you?
Came through here! Looks like a good bunch of stuff!
We are just fine!
We feel a little bored today. How does one go on with life when one has been focusing on just this one thing for a couple months?
We should now be doing something else, making some other plan, but what? - Oh yeah, before all this, we needed new jobs... ;~D
Oh bummer. You know.... most people have a pretty high tolerance for your cluttered house. If she says it was the allergy, and you actually saw her sneezing, it probably is the allergy.
Try not to be embarrassed. It wasn't put on you to make your house allergen free, you weren't even told it was an issue. You can't fix that in a day, if at all.
Right, manga is my kind of weird. American and Japanese comics are really too different to compare, IMO. I haven't figured out American comics yet...
Hear! Here! Weird is *beautiful*!
...Mom-visit continues.... we're still having fun. Gonna get Big'ol out on the deck to grill us some steaks.
I never got into comics until I decided that I wanted to get my hands on as much Star Wars memorabilia as I could...this was before Lucas even announced he was thinking about doing Episode One...I collected an 'A' list : movie marquis posters, plates, 12' figures, the Marvel comics. I have all but four of the 100+ Marvel issues of the Star Wars series.
Everything is WORTHLESS now, because no one wants to go near the SW stuff. Lucas is a joke.
I miss the old days.
I'm more mad at myself than my brother, which I guess is positive in SOME ways...considering I should be nice to him in front of her!
What on EARTH are you talking about, Rosie!? I'm certain your house is NOT at all filthy, so quit talking nonsense. There is absolutely NO reason for you to feel embarrassed.
It isn't your fault she's allergic to cats, so don't take that personally. And I'm fairly sure that she doesn't think anything negative towards you. As a matter of fact, she prolly feels terrible that ~her~ cat allergy has become an issue on her first visit with her in-laws.
in a word, I am bit bummed today.
You have no reason to be mad at yourself. This was put on you with little warning and over your objections and concerns. These guys have got you pretty conditioned to accept all the guilt, but we aren't gonna let you carry it here!
It's hard, to maintain a place for guests that is pet-free. I try to keep my back bedroom a pet free zone so it isn't covered with hair like everything else, but the sheets are washed and stored all together, so I am sure it isn't allergen free at all.
Rosie! Stop feeling down! You work hard, if your house isn't perfect at the end of the day, who cares? And I would be money that she didn't even notice. Trust me, if someone has allergies, they aren't going to want to be around what causes them.
(((hugs Rosie))) I know you are a GOOD housekeeper!
I haven't talked to HER yet today. Just to Dad.
I wish!
I use the "artistic temperament" excuse, I guess.
At least I did the dishes this morning...and the bathroom is clean.
(((ROSIE)))
On the bright side...
The natural foods place is now carrying DaVinci sugarfree syrups! They only had three flavors, but it's a start. And I'd feel more comfortable asking them to special order than I would Price Chopper. They probably wouldn't mind at all.
Yippee skippy, it's almost 5:30. I am outta here!
Be back later folkses!
If I don't see ya before bedtime...have a great evening!
