Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Speaking of Hobbit Hole knives, ugh, mine I take with me everywhere I go. Including some places I shouldn't like the Rapid City airport. It won me the extra special search.

Oh dear!!! Ya gotta remember to put it in a checked bag!!!

It doesn't make any sense does it?
And how I long to hear those magic words when entering a restaurant...smoking or non-smoking. Sadly, that is no more.

I was pleasantly surprised last week by one restaurant in Waco. They got one of them laws now in Waco but Cheryl and Lynn took me to one restaurant which went to the trouble to construct a completely separate smoker's room. All completely separate from the complainers! Guess why they give that place business!!!

I found the lines frmo Roman Moroni. Finally.
I love Google!!
Roman Moroni: I would like to direct this to the distinguished members of the panel: You lousy corksuckers. You have violated my farging rights. Dis somanumbatching country was founded so that the liberties of common patriotic citizens like me could not be taken away by a bunch of fargin iceholes...like yourselves

I've missed a lot of episodes since Season 3 or so. They changed the schedule at some point and I've never been able to keep up since. It's always funny when I tune in, though :)
