Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Sorry about that. I have to care for Alyson for a bit. It's okay, like I told Ramius, I just put out laundry to dry! :-)

Just to give you fair warning, Rose is composing a rant about work today... she had a pretty rough day!

Yep, it does seem like a lot, but for example, one tape will be Bible Truths for Kindergarteners...the whole week's worth of class is only 30 minutes long. But they are in daily order, you know? He'll watch for a few minutes, then turn it off till the next day. Then it's already cued up for the next day.
Now his "Beginnings" class...the meat and potatoes of Kindergarten...is 5 hours long...an hour long class a day. But they give it to you all in one pop. So while he's working his way through one week, on Wed mornings from about midnight to 5am, I'm recording the next week's block of lessons. Then I'll just alternate tapes. It's that way with every class, and I have it organized so that all I have to remember to do is put in the appropriate tapes every morning into the appropriate VCR.
I have it all written down plainly! LOL

No, her old job juggled schedules. She got one that she likes even less than her old schedule.
To: 2Jedismom
how much is all this costing you this year as opposed to last year?

That's nothin' compared to Celeste! She recorded 3 grades and KEPT them! Can you imagine!!! She had grocery carts full of tapes!
I will just buy these twenty...ten will be in use (7 tapes for Matthew, 3 for Joshua) and the other ten will be recording the "next" week's lesson. Then, I switch. None will be kept. I'll just record over the previous week's lessons every other week.
Does that make a lick of sense?
