Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Evening Ramius....
I haven't been around here much today, just lurking.... been organizing pictures and trying to put them in some kind of order, preferably chronological!

Meetings. Then some meetings about meetings. Maybe a conference call about the meetings about meetings. Oh, and documentation of meetings.

I bet that's a lot of pictures to organize! I know whenever my family has an event the person with the camera takes like 6 shots of everything :)

been organizing pictures and trying to put them in some kind of order, preferably chronological! There are those of us here who probably need anxiety meds with the anticipation of seeing these pictures. No pressure of course... but... hehehe

Ah, yes, meta-meetings--I've had those--doodling pads you can pretend you're taking notes on come in handy. . .

Hello Fedora!
I had a pretty good day. Fairly busy, but I can't complain, except....
One client waited until 6 o'clock to send in her payroll. A mistake-laden payroll at that. *sigh* But, she is the sweetest lady and I couldn't be that angry with her.
I didn't get finished until almost 7:00! And if it hadn't been for that one payroll, I woulda been home by 5:30 the latest.
Anyway, overtime is ~always~ a good thing, so I'll just be happy that I made some extra hours today. :-)

I bet that's a lot of pictures to organize! I know whenever my family has an event the person with the camera takes like 6 shots of everything :) There's ~that~ but there are also six different cameras that were taking pictures... it's combining Bear's day with Tam's day with Ruthy's day with 2J's day... They all took different pictures, and I want to blend them all into one sequence. Just about done. ;~D

I do love this spot. It's like my spot on the couch at Entmoot.
And my bed is right behind me, acting as Old Man Willow! *laughing*

Good evening Mrs. Ecurbh!
How's the wedding album comin' along? I imagine it's a challenge with as many pictures as you have!

Payroll mistakes are always fun! :) My Mom's old employer used to make one every two weeks or so, typically resulting in everyone having to make an extra trip downtown to straighten it out, and meanwhile everyone's bank account who had been over/underpaid would be screwed up. . .But anyway, you made some extra hours today! :) What's on TV tonight?
