Found out why. One of the sisters failed to tell Mom the little guy's bus (he has summer school this month) came at 8, not 8:10, so he missed it and she had to drive him. Now I understand.
I have two paperwork type tasks to do today and at this point I'm not sure either will get done... sigh...
It's very hobbit-like to give others presents on your birthday, you know...
LOL...don't worry, it would look about the same as it does whenever I mow it. I tend to have the same problem...I start a lot of projects...but don't finish them.
The plastic-covered crate I was building for the pool filter is still not finished...and I started that about 6 weeks ago.
Seems like Mom should be made at your sister and not you. But I understand the distribution to the whole household...
Yeah, but I ain't a hobbit...
No, Jr. will think he's done. There will just be patches all over the yard that he's missed.
Morning folkses!
Last night went pretty well, except for calling the cops on the neighbors at 11:30pm. :-)
Alyson watched her first fireworks display from inside my truck and loved them! I tried holding her and watching them from outside the vehicle, but the loud booms were a bit too scary for her. I figure she'll be fine next year.
Jessi did OK too, but I called the cops because the neighbors got their hands on some commercial grade fireworks and you can't imagine how scary those large booms are when they are coming from your second-door over's neighbors' yard! Not too mention, they are highly illegal.
The houses around here are only 6 feet apart, so throwing those kind of fireballs around is not very safe or courteous.
I hate to be the rat fink of the cul-de-sac, but by 11:30, I was good and fed up. These folks are from Chile and aren't citizens yet and they had the audicity to tell my mom "Don't you know what day it is?" when the cops showed up (my mom went to explain what she saw). My mom told the neighbor off, telling him that she's been in this country for 36 years and has her citizenship and all her kids are American-born and bred, so HOW DARE ~he~ tell her what today is?
LOL! It was sight to see!
Oh and Seamus, WTG with that sermon. I"ll be praying for the Lord to make your path plain before you. :-)
Guilt.... the guided missile of the tyranical parental system ;~D
LOL...have you considered giving him one of those extra-wide mowers...like they use at ballfields?
LOL...awesome...simply awesome!!
It is the tried and true method.
Nah, he' just miss bigger spots.
When Mom ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
Grrr... this gets frustrating. In order to qualify for in-state tuition next year, there's a million hoops I have to jump through. One place says being a graduate student qualifies me, the other says as I'm not 22 I have a bunch of papers to worry about...
Too bad yer not Pentecostal. We got the market cornered on that jumpin' thing...
*grin*
I was laughing about it with her last night.
These types of folks are the reason so many people are leaving Miami. The central and south americans are flowing in like crazy, and they have brought all of their bad habits with them.
You can try all you want to assimilate them, but there are just too many of them. There are so few Anglos left in Miami, and long-time Americans from Cuba have left as well. It's a shame to see, but there is only so much people can take before you decided enough is enough.
Time to go. If'n I don't start oppressing the whole fam'ly ain't nobody gonna get offa their clymers today...
See y'all later.
You should try to get in touch with your school's financial aid department. They should be able to give you the real scoop on what you need to do.
I doubt they are open today, but you can give them a call tomorrow.
Bye, O Great Oppressor! *wink*
See ya Corin!
Yeah, that's a good idea. Should be able to send them an email, it's not such a weird question after all.
Move to the to-do list for tomorrow. 1. Go to work. 2. Get un-dead 3. Find out about resident status...
