Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Tree and flower and leaf and grass

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I doubt the baby seal is really cute at all once you get it fried up!

Just smack it with a club a few times and it isn't nearly so cute. That helps, or so I've heard. :-)

If I ever get enough money together to buy a fur coat, any PETA freak who comes near me with a can of paint will be as dead as I can make them with my bare hands and my heels.

And then I'll sue them and their lame@ss organization for hate crimes and racial discrimination! Against humans!

See? Mentioning heroin causes double-posting.

It's been tested and proven.

Statistics don't lie. ;-)

Well said...

But there's better tools than mere bare hands... but you knew that. :-)

If you think it's expensive, you should see it from the seal's perspective! ;~D

If I never touch seal fur, I'll never know it's better than all the others. ;-)

No comment. I'll just take the fur and stay warm. :-)

That's right!

I can appreciate the luxury of owning fur, but it's one of those things ~other~ folks own. I'll settle with a fleece-lined denim jacket instead.

But, I still like my meat well done honey. Can we at least warm it up a bit? :-)

I have 3 rabbit jackets now. Had one full length rabbit coat for years. Loved having the PETA freaks lash out at me. I was always the warm one in the arguement too! :-D
